š What does it look like to honor your priorities
Hi Love,
I used to live out other peopleās to-do lists, instead of my own.
I didnāt even realize I was doing this. Adding the things I was told I āshouldā be doing, even when it didnāt feel in alignment for me.
Over time āSure. I can do that.ā Or āOf course, weāll be there.ā slowly turned intoā¦āThank you for the invitation. Iāll check my calendar and get back to you.ā
As I started to recognize that the burnout I was feeling was coming from ignoring my needs, and brushing away what was most important to me and my family.
So I dug deep and reconnected with my valuesā¦by asking myselfā¦
What are my needs in this season?
What do we value most as a family?
What are the things that light me up?
I heard someone say recently that āYour Inbox is someone elseās to-do list for you.ā
That gave me pause because I had never looked at it that way. And so I began to reclaim my inbox. Releasing the clutter and being intentional about who I invited into this digital space.
I donāt take it lightly that you have invited me into your inbox and for that I am so grateful.
And I love hearing from you. Let me knowā¦
What are some areas in your life that youāre ready to reconnect with your values and simplify?
Sending you Love Always,
Catherine
