šŸ’› What does it look like to honor your priorities

Hi Love,

I used to live out other peopleā€™s to-do lists, instead of my own.

I didnā€™t even realize I was doing this. Adding the things I was told I ā€œshouldā€ be doing, even when it didnā€™t feel in alignment for me.

Over time ā€œSure. I can do that.ā€ Or ā€œOf course, weā€™ll be there.ā€ slowly turned intoā€¦ā€Thank you for the invitation. Iā€™ll check my calendar and get back to you.ā€

As I started to recognize that the burnout I was feeling was coming from ignoring my needs, and brushing away what was most important to me and my family.

So I dug deep and reconnected with my valuesā€¦by asking myselfā€¦

What are my needs in this season?

What do we value most as a family?

What are the things that light me up?

I heard someone say recently that ā€œYour Inbox is someone elseā€™s to-do list for you.ā€

That gave me pause because I had never looked at it that way. And so I began to reclaim my inbox. Releasing the clutter and being intentional about who I invited into this digital space.

I donā€™t take it lightly that you have invited me into your inbox and for that I am so grateful.

And I love hearing from you. Let me knowā€¦

What are some areas in your life that youā€™re ready to reconnect with your values and simplify?

Sending you Love Always,

Catherine
